A multi-sport athlete at Brunswick High School, David competed in varsity basketball, baseball, football, and track before accepting an offer to play football at Baldwin Wallace College. With over two decades of experience teaching at the middle school level in the Berea City School District, he brings the same dedication to the court as he does the classroom. Over the past 17 years, he has coached basketball at all levels—from first-grade recreation to serving as JV head coach at Berea High School, where his team captured a Pioneer Conference Championship. His coaching resume also includes baseball, softball, and football at various levels. He believes coaching, like teaching, is a calling—an opportunity to inspire growth and character. While striving to win, he emphasizes that players and coaches should be defined not by records, but by their effort, attitude, and preparation. To him, basketball is more than a game; it's a powerful tool to help young people become the best versions of themselves.
